Brochure Project: Banff, Alberta, Canada
This project was for a graphic design course at Liberty University. The prompt was to make a trifold brochure of a chosen location and make it have effective hierarchy and combine all the creative skills we learned throughout the course. I chose Banff, Canada and did my project based in what to do in Banff in each season. I made a panel for summer, fall, and winter, and what the most popular things to do and experience in each season are. I made a graphic of mountains for my main headers, "Summer", "Fall", and "Winter". I also made text boxes with lowered opacity in order to make the text readable, but still show the background picture that the text was covering. I chose to use three pictures as background pictures to separate the panels and setup each topic appropriately. I also chose to use a while outline of each picture to establish the borders of each panel. On the front I used an outline of mountains and the name of the city to establish the location and the theme of the Brochure, with an envelope on the back middle, and contact information on the back right panel. I used a large picture for the back of the brochure, and separated it using the envelope page to make the back more interesting and unique.
